Happy two-month birthday, Lillian! Some of the last two months was a bit of a sleepy blur, but we've managed to get lots of family time in. Lillian has developed into a great sleeper, most of the time. She started out sleeping in a bassinet in our room, then gradually moved to sleeping in her crib. We stopped swaddling her because she seemed to not like it, but one day in the middle of January I decided to try swaddling again and it worked wonders! She stays asleep better for her naps during the day and she's sleeping long stretches at night.
She is also started the much anticipated smiles and cooing this month. She has to be in the mood to give you a smile. I've also noticed that when I have her laying next to me and I'm doing something else her voice will get a little louder to get my attention and then flash me an adorable smile.
Another thing you'll notice in the pictures is tummy time. She actually doesn't mind it much for short periods of time, so I'm to blame for her not getting enough of it. I had to call in James to assist on teaching her how it's done. :)
