Lillian: Month 1

Just like her big brother, Lillian waited almost 2 weeks past her due date for us to meet her. Of course she was worth the wait! We soaked up all the cuddle time we could get with our beautiful, dark-haired baby girl.

My parents were here to stay with James while we were in the hospital. They were all so anxious to meet Lillian! Here were the first introductions. James was so excited to see her!

We were so happy to bring her home and settle in as a family of four. We were lucky to have a sunny (but chilly) day. As you can see from the photos, James was not only excited to see Lillian (and mom and dad), he was happy to have us all home. He is being a wonderful big brother, always asking to hug and kiss her. We do our best to give him the attention he needs so he doesn't feel left out. My mom was able to stay for about a week longer. She was so much help!

Since Nathan's parents didn't get to meet Lillian on their visit in November, they drove back out for the first week in January. Lillian got lots of cuddling (and playtime) from Mimi and Papa Harry and of course James loved having them back to play!
