Wow, the baby is getting big!

I know it's been a long time since I've posted, but I'm still getting used to this blogging thing. I'm 27 weeks along now and everything has been going really good. I spent 3 weeks in Oregon visiting my family and getting away from all of the renovations on our new home (which is going well and you can see pictures at happyrockrenovation.blogspot.com). It was great to see everyone and I'm so thankful for wonderful time spent with my mom. She got to see me pregnant and even feel the baby move!

The baby lets me know quite frequently that it's doing well by kicking, punching, and squirming. The doctor was even surprised at how much the baby was moving at our last appointment. These movements are so amazing and they get stronger each week. My belly has also grown quite a lot over the past few weeks. It's so strange to look in the mirror and see my large belly, but I really enjoy being pregnant! It's fun to have people ask me when I'm due or what the baby is. I've even had quite a few strangers make a guess if it's a boy or a girl. Do any of you want to make a guess?

On our 2nd anniversary, Nathan and I found time to go
out for dinner, see the sunset and downtown Pittsburgh
on Mt. Washington, and get some ice cream.

The nursery is almost complete! We just
need the carpet, finish the electrical stuff,
and then I can start decorating!
