Nathan was also home working today so it was fun to hang out with him. We tried not to distract him too much :)
Back to the topic of the year (?), I ordered a new baby sleep book called "Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Baby" and it arrived today! It's really good so far. It's very thorough and technical about all the research done on how adults and babies sleep, what sleep problems are and how to prevent (or solve) them. I'll keep you updated on what we learn and how it goes. We're starting with James being 4 1/2 months old, co-sleeping with us at night, and relying heavily on nursing and swinging to fall asleep. Lesson of the day: "you can force wakefulness upon sleep, but you cannot force sleep upon wakefulness." (Obvious, I know, but soooo relevant right now!)
