Nathan had a conference to attend in Ft. Lauderdale so we couldn't pass up a family vacation to Florida! We had been wanting to get down there to visit Nathan's grandparents as well, so this could double as a trip to see them, too. The conference started on a Monday so we flew to Ft. Lauderdale the Friday before, rented a car and drove up to Orlando. It was a quick weekend stay, but it was wonderful to get James and his Great-Grandparents together! We also got to hang out with Nathan's uncle and cousins. It was so much fun! They basically live in a resort! :)
James got to do a lot of firsts this trip. Having ice cream was one of them!
Uncle Kevan took us to Downtown Disney for a quick look around and have lunch before we headed back to Ft. Lauderdale. James was pretty fascinated by it all and even got his first Mickey Mouse (which served well as a pillow on our drive back).
Thanks SOOO much Uncle Kevan, John, Julie, Grandma, and Grandad for letting us stay with you!!! We can't wait to see you agin soon! Love you!
PS. Uncle Kevan, James loves that sing-a-long CD you got him! It's great! :)
