The remainder of our Florida trip was so much fun. James got lots of time in the pool, although he was much more fascinated with the smooth, decorative stones by the trees than with the water.
James got to see the ocean for the first time! He thought the water was interesting, but again, he was more fascinated with the sand.
Nathan had to spend most of James's waking hours at his conference, so James and I had to take advantage of this resort hotel with just the two of us. He was a lot of fun playing peak-a-boo, learning new words like "ice," and chasing the "gha ghas" at the beach (seagulls). He's starting to learn the sounds of other birds, but "gha gha" is pretty much his word for bird.
