I didn't take any pictures today but we drove back to my parents house and took a quick stop to see my mom's cousin, Stephanie, her daughter Michelle, and 2 grandkids. Nolan is 2 and and him and James got along pretty well. It was so cute that Nolan wanted to hug James, but when that resulted in James falling over into the sliding glass window, James didn't think it was so fun anymore. Nolan had some pretty neat toys including a small Power Wheels 4-wheeler. It was really funny to watch James try to figure out the connection between pushing the button and the 4-wheeler moving forward. We tried to get a video but I didn't have my camera and my dad's phone wasn't working. Oh well.
James did fairly well on the 5.5 hour drive. He wouldn't nap longer then a 45 minute stretch so he took two naps. There was a lot of entertaining to be done the rest of the way and at one point we played with a mini soccer ball that Uncle Dave and Aunt Linda gave to James. James loved tossing it around the car and even using his feet to pick up the ball. If the ball rolled off of his head and down his side, he would crack up laughing and of course want more.
I don't have many stories and it's past my bedtime, so off to sleep. Good night!
