Day 7: Stradtpark
This was a lazy Monday and we were only able to get out to visit Stradtpark. We discovered that Austrian parks look and feel very different than American parks. For one, they take their landscaping quite seriously. They don't leave any overgrown or otherwise unmaintained areas so it feels like you are in a garden and not a forest. Both are nice in their own ways, but the beauty here was amazing!
Just outside of Tim and Marina's apartment, James saw this:
... and decided to give it a hug! Nathan (of course) taught him this and without the political meaning, it's quite cute! :)
There was a pond in the park where James enthusiastically chased the birds and made good use of his word "GAH GAH!"
What do you think this sign means?
At first glance (to us, at least), it looks as if you were explicitly not allowed to kick people in the head. But, given that soccer is big over there, I suppose that's what it's prohibiting.
